Founder of ‘Cabaret Kitty's’, ‘C.K. Promotions’ & ‘The Funk Foundation’.
Currently on last year of Media Studies course.
Louise ‘The Fox’ Kemp is an extremely hardworking and naturally musical individual and she makes an impact.
She arrived on the scene as a promoter/model with a dance history in 2002.
Within months she was a semi-professional choreographed club dancer & choreographer, running her own ground breaking club dance co. and eventually, entertainments agency, the first of it’s kind in her area and beyond.
Following the success of ‘CK Promotions’ & subsequent, even bigger success, ‘Networking Central…The Industry Party’ (a party for those within the Music Industry), Louise gained the confidence and experiences to have a go at her pretty much life-long desire to DJ. She bought her Technics and mixer, with money earned through previous projects, in Jan 2005.
Louise’s influences in music are varied due to a musical family/background and she opted to play Breakbeat, despite the popular lean towards House & Hard Dance in her area. This was due to the quality of productions around at the time (from Producers such as Stanton Warriors & Plump DJ’s) and her early love for Hip Hop/Funk & a good Bassline. Within months Louise was a recognised face on the DJ circuit, from her hometown Norwich, to London.
During this time Louise also gained the highest grade in her yr for her Media Studies college coursework. The brief was to research and produce 3 radio ads for use on local radio…these ad.’s went on to be used on college radio VOXfm (London), myspace (‘Networking Central’ group & some other personal profiles). She has since been asked to produce Radio Ad.’s for local station FutureFM and is trying to fit that in, amongst this yrs coursework (Music Video Production) and other personal projects.
Louise continues to be actively involved with Networking Central ltd. at present but intends stepping down as a Director by 2007 to concentrate on other projects. At this stage she (and 2 of 3 other Directors) will hand over control of the co. but Louise will continue to promote to an established 500+ following on www.dontstayin.com in the ‘Networking Central Regulars’ group and aid the new Director/s where appropriate.
Brother (6.9hz)’s Electronica production has influenced her recent move towards the Techier side of House and she consolidates her preferences by now playing Breaks, Breaks influenced Jacking/Electro-Tech House & Sunday morning Vibe, Minimal-Tech House.
The Fox has recently been made resident with the highly successful Baldeelox Records. www.baldeelox.com

What next for The Fox?
Interview Quote (from - ‘AUDIO’ LAUNCH PARTY -FEAT. KING ROC & JNR. J -article):
“Right guys.... You have been selected for ‘Audio’.... each of you has been chosen because of your single-handed determination and wisdom in pushing forth the future sound of House music and representing the varying genres within the field…
You have all done very well from DJ'ing in the scene, although none of you (yet) are globetrotting £5000 a set DJ's, most would say that you are key figures in the London house scene. London is often seen by the rest of the world as the hub of club / house music culture, are you happy with what you have achieved and what else is there to strive for yourselves?”
The Fox: “I'm overwhelmed to be accepted into the London scene like I have been recently and it's absolutely wicked. I spend most of my time in awe of the talent I come across and feeling pretty humble. There is always more to achieve though, yeah! I love being able to play my stuff to a crowd and I just want to keep improving. I'd love to produce too and intend to start hounding my bro to work on something with me as soon as I get some spare time, which will probably be this time next year when I leave college.”
