Profile
LUNA has been spinning since 1999. She recently ranked #37 on Shejay Top 100 female DJ pole ahead of Australia’s own Sarah Main (now residing in Ibiza) and Tania Volcano. 

Luna has supported M.A.N.D.Y, James Zabielia, Nic Fanciulli (Skylark), DJ T, Booka Shade, Damian Lazarus, Serge Santiago (UK), Roger Sanchez & Groove Armada to name a few and played at world renowned Australian club’s HOME, Sydney and club night Onelove, Melbourne.

In 2005 Luna travelled abroad for the first time playing in Castellon de la Plana (North of Valencia), Spain for a 5 day festival called Electrosplash playing along side M.A.N.D.Y., DJ T and Booka Shade

With a musical background of electric guitar Luna thought she was destined to be a grunge rocker in high school playing and singing in bands…so much so, she spent her every spare minute volunteering at recording studios Damien Gerard Sound Studios, Sydney learning to become a assistant sound engineer leading her to work with great Australian bands like The Church. Her passion for the industry also gained her the position of A&R at Foghorn Records for the Grow Your Own Australian band compilations…this is when the idea of starting Eyelash Records was born!
After high school, dance music became a passion after discovering house at Danny Tenaglia New Years Eve party. Inspired by greats - Nick Warren, Steve Lawler, Derrick Carter, Renaissance & Global Underground compilations, and curiosity soon enough got the better of her and she bought some decks...

In 2003, Luna started her own record label EYELASH RECORDS. Teaming up with Foghorn Records a joint venture was formed and INNER CITY BEATS 2003 compilation was the first release. The strategy: to feature unsigned and up-and-coming producers/groups from Australia. Vol 1 included Yoshi, Liquid M, Price Cuts, B'Arch. ICB Vol2 is out now (May 16th 2005)

Before the label Luna worked many years in records stores as a 12” buyer with Central Stations Records and Savage Records, Sydney. 



Luna has contributed to articles on Inthemix.com.au, co-hosted on FBI radio with Kid Kenobi (#1 Australian DJ 3 years in a row) on Sunsets, 94.5fm and was the only female in Australia to compete in the first Heineken Found @ Thirst 2004 competition.
