Lil Miss Pink... The female DJ who is putting everyone in a spin with her mash up mixes and Kick Ass attitude, she has passion and energy and most of all being on the decks is what she does best! Lil Miss Pink started mixing in Summer 2000 and got her first set of decks shortly after. She initially mixed Garage, mainly 4 to the floor, specialising in vocal tracks with funky beats, she then began to incorporate party breaks and chunky house into her sets, mashing up acapella's with catchy b-lines live on stage, creating a stomping new sound! Lil Miss Pink is all about fun and excitement and her enthusiasm on the decks is like no other. Her unpredictable mixing keeps her sets creative and lively and she always leaves the crowd wanting more. Her mixing has even been described as "making magic on the decks!" Lil Miss Pink is based in Brighton and she stared her DJ career playing in various pubs and clubs across the south coast, a list that is still growing! Initial residencies included urban night 'Switch' at the Ocean Rooms in Brighton and Empire (now Mud Club) in Bognor Regis. She then moved onto the radio waves with a prime time slot on Brighton's only pirate radio station, Future FM. Lil Miss Pink has also had a music track written and produced for her, Pink's tha dj by Bigredcap. Last Summer Pink came 1st in the Brighton heat of the Movida Carona World DJ competition and went on to represent Brighton at the Opera House in Bournemouth in September of last year. Shortly after being signed to Pure DJs agency at the end of 2006, Pink got the opportunity to DJ in Shanghai, since then she has travelled all over the world including a 4 date tour of China, gig's in Germany, Finland, Belgium, Spain and is now a regular over in Asia, going down a storm with her energetic dj sets and her girly but pumping image! In Brighton she has had residencies for Obsession at the Beach Club and Funkylicious at the Zap Club (now Digital). Other recent sets have included a club night in Scarborough and 'Mayhem' nightclub in Southend. In 2007 she started a regular guest DJ appearance at up and coming Brighton based breaks night Beat Circus, playing out to a capacity crowd and demonstrating her flexibility DJing alongside freestylin' musicians and giving this fresh new night one of the most energetic sets yet! 2007 seemed to be one of her most exciting years so far, with her securing a residency supporting the Fuel Girls in association with Hot Import Nights! Hot Import Nights run internationally renowned events, and the Fuel Girls are a regular feature in mens mags such as Maxim & FHM. Pink was the natural choice to accompany these girls on their tour complimenting their sexy energy on stage. 2009 has seen Pink join femaledj's.com, one of the Uk's leading dj agency's for female talent. Having been away in Australia for the year of 2008, Lil Miss Pink is now back on the scene and ready to explode like never before!! Lil Miss Pink is all about breaking boundaries and being innovative in her mixing, her passion for music will most certainly lead to many more exciting things to come!
