In addition Alex was on the roster for the Shejay “Ladies First” Summer Tour 2005 (www.shejay.net) and has received press in DJ magazine (Sept 2005) as a result of her involvement with Shejay. She also completed a week long residency at Zinc, Dubai, in May 2006.

Alex Donald has been around and involved with music since she was a child. She was practically raised on tour as her father is the legendary Irish jazz saxophonist Keith Donald who was in seminal band Moving Hearts. She did her first recording session as a vocalist with renowned Irish musician and Pogues member Terry Woods when she was 13.

Since then she has gigged with numerous bands all over Ireland, in venues as diverse as Slane Castle, The Clarence Hotel, Solas and the Front Lounge. She has also done many recording sessions, both for bands and for commercial jingles.

Alex formed the band "en" in 1999 with DJ/producer Adam Barry and guitarist/producer Mark Murphy. In 2000 their song "Adventures of a Tragic Man" was featured on the first Synergia compilation released by Frisco Records and subsequently as the first single on the Underdog Records label.

Alex moved to London from Dublin in January 2005 to concentrate on DJing and to complete her first novel.
